Enjoying the warm weather...

Legs are shaved and in shorts, windows are open and the music is flowing. The weather here is amazing. Today is supposed be around 52 degrees and tomorrow is supposed to be about 58! Summer I can almost feel you. Spring break is finally here and I am bored. There is nothing and no one left here in town. I can't wait for school so I can enjoy the sunshine and be busy. I feel so light today. I want to dance and just let loose. I love the wonderful weather we have. Here is another duel post in my 30 day meme.

The 30 Day Meme Day 9...

Day 09 → A photo I took...This is one of my favorite pictures I've taken. I've been reading a few ebooks on Photography and working on my taking of pictures. I think this picture really shows the work I've been doing. I just love the topic too. :)

The 30 Day Meme a few days off...

Sorry I've been behind for those of you, or just me, that are following this. It's midterms week and things have been a tad crazy and all.

The 30 Day Meme Day 5...

Day 05 → My favorite quote is by far something that my dad had said one day...'Fight the Fight!'. It's something that we have put on shirts. It's the motto that has gotten us through the last three years in one piece (one shredded barely hanging on ragged piece but it's still on piece.) It means you can't give up. No matter what is going on and what you are going through you can't give up. He told my mom that no matter what she feels she just can't give up since we are all fighting for her. He said that I fought for what I had to and made it through and that I got my strength from her so she could fight too. Hopefully she will continue to fight and eventually that fight will pay off.

The 30 Day Meme Day 4...

Day 04 → My favorite book would have to be the Lord of the Rings. I love this story. The detail to history and the landscape is amazing. Tolkien did an amazing job of it. I also love to read the Sookie Stackhouse series which is amazing. I close second to LotR competing with Sookie would be Dracula too. And I do have to say I am a Twilight fanatic. I just love vampires and fantasy. I love the genre, you can just forget yourself and immerse into the story and someone else's life.

This should be my last large post like this (maybe) of places I'd like to visit. I'm going to try and narrow down on the places I'll be visiting this summer, mainly Slovenia, Germany, Austria and possibly Croatia and Italy.

2009 in Travel...

Wow I sure like to post random things separately instead of putting them together. Any who I was stumbling around the net and found this cute little meme that a lady had done. She separated the year into months and wrote down everywhere she had been. I think I want to do the same thing just to keep a diary of sorts of where I have been. And so begins 2009 (and part of 2010)...

Day 03 → My favorite television program no questions asked is True Blood. I love vampires and there is just something about this show that keeps bringing me back for more. It doesn't help that Alexander Skarsgård is a total cutie. The books are even more amazing than the TV show is too. I have to give credit to Rachael for getting me hooked. It's a amazing, thanks.

Bittersweet...

   So I got the go ahead to go to China the other day. The bad news is that it would be an increase in price. The original quoted price would be 3200 dollars or so, the new price is around 5200 dollars. That's an increase of 2000 dollars!
   I will be traveling over seas though this summer. Chirs' family has invited us to go over seas with them to visit family. We will be flying to Germany and then going through Austria to Slovenia. It is a good chance we will also visit Croatia. I am very excited. I just hope I don't come to regret not being able to go to China and sing at the World's Fair with the choir.
   I've created this journal to follow my way through this travel and those to follow after it. I'm hopefully going to post everyday something new I've learned about the countries I'm going to or a new place I would eventually like to travel to. I hope you enjoy walking with me through my travels and please feel free to offer suggestions on where I should visit.
